About Pilates with Hattie

Hi I'm Hattie and I'm a Level 3 qualified mat Pilates Instructor. I fell in love with pilates for its focus on your core 'powerhouse'. This consists of your abdominal muscles, spinal muscles, pelvic floor muscles, gluteal muscles and hip flexors. Your powerhouse controls all movement, even arm and leg movement starts with engagement from the powerhouse. Strengthening it protects the spine, improves posture and boosts coordination and balance. 

I am currently running mixed ability classes suitable for both beginners and also for intermediates as progressions and adaptations are offered across the exercises.
